Mandarin United Methodist Women’s Fall Craft Festival will take place on October 7th from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. This event has been in existence for 27 years and crafters say it’s one of the most enjoyable shows. Along with 100 plus crafters, the festival has a bake shop, country store, children’s shop, and more.
St. Joseph’s Catholic Church is having their Fall Festival on October 8th from 11:00 am-6:00 pm at the Cody Enrichment Center located on the corner of Old St. Augustine Road and Loretto Road. Everyone is welcomed! Expect children’s games, (climbing wall for teens), pony rides, prizes, face painting, great food, music (live bands), homemade crafts, bingo, inflatables, and a lot more. Bartram Academy is proud to host their Annual Fall Family Festival. Seabreeze Elementary hosts their annual Howls & Haystacks Fall Festival on October 21st at 5-7pm There will be pony rides, a petting zoo, bouncy houses, games, food booths, food trucks, face painting, dunking booth, and more. Spirit of Life Lutheran Church located at 2636 New Berlin Rd. will have a Fall Festival on October 21st from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. There will be food, free games, bounce houses, face painting,and music, There will also be a pumpkin patch for those who wish to purchase a pumpkin. Christ UMC in Neptune Beach’s Fall Festival will be held on October 21st from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. All are welcome to join in the festival for this annual event of family fun, free food and drinks, games face painting, jump houses and those very special hand made gifts and home-made goodies for the holidays. Pumpkin Patch will be open as well.
Mandarin Presbyterian Church is having our annual ‘Pumpkin Jam’. On Sunday, October 22nd from 2:30 - 5:00pm, come and enjoy the fun and excitement as kids of all ages have an awesome time with hay rides, face painting, cotton candy, cookie decorating, carnival games, popcorn, snow cones, bouncy things, Applewood Forest and more. Admission is free and children are encouraged to dress up for this event. Please consider bringing a non-perishable or canned food item for donation to MPC’s community food bank. St.Andrew’s Episcopal Church hosts their annual fall festival and craft fair on October 21st at 10 am. River of Life UMC will host a Free Family Fall Festival On Saturday, October 21st. EstuSCARY Festival and Haunted Forest will be held at the GTM Research Reserve on October 26, and 27th from 6pm to 9pm for a frighteningly fun Halloween event. Enjoy kid-friendly booths, candy, popcorn, food truck and games. Look for Streaming the Bullet Food Truck onsite for some delicious food. Meet at the Environmental Education Center and remember to bring some cash for snacks and beverages. There will be water available for those with reusable water bottles. The EstuSCARY Festival is FREE to attend and opens at 6 p.m. Starting at 7 p.m., those with tickets ($7) board a hayride to the Haunted Forest Trails (based on the time slot purchased). 47th Annual St. Catherine’s Bazaar will be held on October 27th (5 pm) through 29th (noon). Everyone is invited to come out for rides, food booths, a silent auction, carnival games, bingo, raffles and more. Heritage Pumpkin Patch Fall Festival at 1156 Park Avenue (Hwy 17) in Orange Park will host a mini fall festival on October 27th, from 1pm to 4pm. There will be face painting, arts and crafts, candy, and of course, pumpkins. Murray Hill-O-Ween is a family-friendly Halloween event focused on the goal of promoting the Murray Hill neighborhood and its businesses. The event will consist of two parts, a block party on Edgewood avenue from Post Street to Kerle Street that goes from 4pm-10pm, and a Halloween parade that will start at 7pm. The block party will feature live music, food trucks, craft beer, the Vagabond Flea, a costume contest, kids’ activities and more! The Halloween parade, a Jacksonville first, will cover approximately three quarters of a mile along Edgewood Avenue starting at Plymouth Street and ending at Hamilton Street. The annual Neptune Beach Elementary Fall Festival sponsored by the Neptune Beach Elementary Parent Teacher Association (PTA) will be held on Saturday, November 18th from 10am – 2pm. Join in a day of food, midway games, face painting, bounce houses, silent auction and more! The event is open to the public and there is no admission fee. Novemberfest will be held at Saint Matthew’s Lutheran Church (6801 Merrill Rd Jacksonville) Plan for a good old-fashioned fall arts and crafts festival that raises funds for youth programs and St. Matthew’s Lutheran church. Local handmade pieces, regional vendors and unique accessories are highlighted in the one-day event, while a chili cook off, bake sale, cake auction, an appearance by the Jacksonville Suns mascot, face painting, pony rides, a bouncy house and a DJ are among the other attractions.
